Good morning Hank, it's Tuesday. As you can tell from the gray speckled walls behind me, I am in an airport, and as you can tell from my cold dead eyes, it's 5:42 in the morning https://casinoslots-ie.com/superlines.
Also, I forgot my camcorder, so I'm filming this on my phone. I have a bunch of things to tell you, but I also wanna give you some travel tips, so I'm gonna intersperse them. Thing One Hank, The Paper Towns Movie: they moved the release date; it is now coming out on July 24th. That is the real date; it will really come out on that day, I think. That's very good news, because it means that Jake and everybody will have time to actually finish the movie. Also, there is going to be a trailer soon. How soon? I can't tell you, but pretty soon. Ok, travel tip: In almost every airport in the United States, there is a gate that is empty all the time. In our case in Indianapolis, it's gate A3. This is where I come to make videoblogs, because there are no people here. If you're at an airport, take the time to walk around and find the empty gate, because there are plugs, and chairs, and freedom. Sadly that travel tip does not apply to people in Los Angeles, New York, Chicago, or Atlanta. Thing Two, The Looking For Alaska movie: So Hank, my first book, Looking For Alaska, came out 10 years ago, and the movie rights have been owned ever since by Paramount. But suddenly, it seems like a Looking For Alaska movie might actually happen, because the team has gotten back together. The same screenwriters who wrote The Fault In Our Stars and Paper Towns, Scott Neustadter and Mike Weber are gonna be writing the script. And the producers of both Fault In Our Stars and Paper Towns have joined in as well, so that is very exciting. Travel Tip: So, this is the fancy airport lounge. Don't pay to go to the airport lounge, it's never worth it. You think there's gonna be like milk and honey and beds in there. You know what they have? I'll tell you exactly what's in there. Alcohol and cookies. That's it, that's what you will find in the airport lounge. So unless you really love to drink, or are Cookie Monster, there is no way that it's worth it. If you want to go to a quiet, private place in the airport, don't go to the lounge, go to the chapel. Almost every airport has a chapel, and they are always nice, and pleasant, and very quiet places. Hank, I noticed most of my travel tips are like "How do you get away from other travelers?" Hank, the biggest movie news of all is that I have seen the Paper Towns movie, and it is great. I'm just so psyched about it and so grateful to everyone who's working on it. Hank, it's one thing to be faithful to a book's plot; it's another to be faithful to the themes of a book. And I really feel like the Paper Towns movie is about learning to imagine others complexly, I'm just so psyched about it. No spoilers, but I am psyched! Final travel tip, Hank: When walking on the moving walkway, be very careful not to step on a crack, lest you break your mother's back. Ok Hank, I have to go board. Sorry about the iPhone video. July 24th - Paper Towns movie! I'll see you on Friday!

His food is on fire! If you do some research online, finding bars and restaurants with "Nomihoudai" is pretty easy to do.
If you're not a big drinker, but still fancy a beer though the cheapest place to buy alcohol is at the supermarket or convenience store. One really good thing about Japan is you can actually drink alcohol out in public. which you can't do in the UK. So you can come in here you can grab your your ah... "One CUP Sake" which is basically just a kind of a jam jar filled with cheap sake. And go off down the park and have a bit of fun! That said, it's not that great so... probably avoid that unless it's your first time drinking sake. Because then you won't know, you won't have anything to compare it to. It's also a great place to pick up breakfast or lunch, such as onigiri rice balls or cheap ready meals. Soba noodles, 348 yen pretty cheap! The perfect thing for like a picnic or a light snack. Finally to give you a rough idea of the price of certain popular dishes, here's a full price breakdown with meals such as sushi and yakitori, unsurprisingly being amongst the most expensive. And "Wagyu" beef being so expensive I didn't even bother putting it on the list. So there you have it! Traveling Japan on a budget! This video was made in collaboration with the "Japan National Tourism Office London" If you're looking for ideas and advice on traveling to Japan, you can check out the glamorous website at "seejapan.co.uk" which is one of the best resources for planning your trip to Japan. And if you're not a native English speaker, the JNTO website comes in 15 languages which you can find at, jnto.go.jp I've also put a link to their Facebook page in the description box, if you're looking for more ideas for your trip. But for now many thanks for watching guys, and if you are watching this in preparation for an upcoming trip to Japan, just want to wish you an awesome trip! Have a good one!! Oh, I really shouldn't wink like that at the end... It just... just looks a bit creepy and awkward... Maybe I'll give a friendly SMILE. And if you want to save even more money there's an even cheaper way than by traveling by bus. You can travel by... "skateboard" No seriously! I'm not even trolling you, I know it going who travelled all the way from Sapporo Hiroshima on a skateboard. It took him 33 days and he saved at least 5,000 yen which is the cost of traveling by plane.
The only question that remains is... How budget are you willing to go?? Yeah I would have... I would have... just flown it... The cheapest style of restaurant to eat out in Japan are the fast food restaurants. The three main ones are... Sukiya Yoshinoya and Matsuya Which can be found on most city streets across the country. And all of which sell the same style of rice bowl dishes covered in toppings the most popular being Gyudon, which is thinly sliced beef. So you got rice, beef and three kinds of cheese. All for 490 yen and without the cheese... It's 350 yen which is disturbingly cheap! It's not something you're going to write home to your family about... probably but it is very filling. After you've had this, the next six hours you're soaring. Also it comes with Tabasco. This isn't product placement. It's not just randomly there, they give it to you with the bowl to give it some flavor. Although be careful because you do get Tabasco all over your hands and it does look like... I've committed murder!!! Fast filling and without the same sense of guilt that comes from eating at a western style fast-food restaurant is the ideal place to drop into for any budget traveler, or just people like me who are lazy! And can't be bothered to cook at home. Slightly healthier than Western fast-food, although if you're like me and you smother your food in 3 kinds of cheese you are going to lose those a groundbreaking health benefits. Another good cheap fast food option are the standing restaurants, dotted around train stations. Where you can order a bowl of soba or udon, from the vending machines for as little as 400 yen. And if I'm in a hurry around lunchtime, I'll quickly dive in and grab a bowl of "Mushroom Soba" Tastes surprisingly good as well! But then again even if you're a budget traveler, You probably didn't come all the way to Japan just to eat a bowl of rice with 3 kinds of cheese for 2 weeks. Or maybe you did!? But fortunately there's a really easy way of saving money if you're going out for the evening. There are a few Japanese words you really need to know before you visit. And one of those words is "Nomihoudai" which means all you can drink! It's the holy grail of a cheat night out. Where for around as little as 1,200 yen, you can drink as much as you can from the extensive drink menu, for up to 2 hours! It's pretty good for 1,500 yen, you get all the alcohol you can drink and all the meat you can eat. OH MY GOD!! (chuckling) It's less of a barbecue, more of a... just a general... general FIRE!! Some types of restaurants also have "Tabehoudai" all you can eat. Particularly at "Yakiniku" grill meat restaurants such as this one. Just be careful who you leave in charge of the barbecue... Knowing this is the first method, I'm going to show you it's not the Holy Grail. Believe me, it's not the Holy Grail. Don'T do this over and over it's it's not flawless. It has limitations, perhaps to a target win in your head: workout: okay, 28 30 units and go from there.
Okay, so, as you can see, 5,000 euro just a test account this one, but I've chosen net bit this time because it's nice and fast for the testing. Okay, so I want to make my videos 30 minutes or longer, okay, so, let's go so basically we're doing we're looking for bits, basically creating a V or almost a triangle with the first number that's hit. So these numbers can be this one, this one this one. This one, this one, this one all up this side, see how it creates that be there. So that's that's the father furthest. We can go that way and obviously feathers. We can go it. That way is they're the same the other side, so I can do column 1 and column. 3 starts the V or an upside down a so let's have a look, so let's do a spin and then I'll show you at the end, the bending some pieces Casinoslots. There'S a total of 12 bits we make for this strategy up into the seventh bit. We bet only one unit then bet eight nine and ten. We bet two units and then 11 and 12. We bet three units so total of 12 bits and hopefully you'll be in profit to that. If not it's a bit of a martingale system, I guess in a way, but we're not doubling every bit in this straightaway, we're doubling if we actually will lose. So if we put one unit on in the first bit and we lose right up to 12th bit, we start again with a different trigger trigger as in trigger meaning the first number we choose and go from there. So here we go let's spin, so we took the look, the the further long method to spin, let's well, that numbers doesn't apply anyway, because it's in the corner. We want one remember across here or across here. So two quick spin, this time no just apply. Yes, this one does, as you can see, it's five five numbers, so usually three of one color, two of the other. The only exception here is when you put on 24, which is four black one over red. So it's up to you, but I'd probably advise not actually betting on the 24 da there. Okay, so let's see how we go so bet, one betting, one unit for seven spins until we win, as you can see, remember the start. Starting is 5,000 euro dollars. Whatever you want to call it doesn't matter, let's go. I win same bet bit too. We didn't win, bet three didn't win bit for didn't win, bet, five didn't win, but six we want okay, so he wants six dollars. Bet, six and again I'll show you at the table at the at the end, how much you win each so this one for each bet. We won six for this one, so that was a six spin. If we won on the first spin would win 31 units, which is pretty good. We went on the twelfth spin, the last one for that series: we'd win 13, so it's still pretty good. But again it's still a risk and everything you do we okay. So we want so my target, I'm gon na say, is gon na make it 30. So when we get to 30 we're gon na stop, let's look for a new trigger. Now, no, no middle, nothing in the middle we use! Here we go so we use 16. Now I've tried out a few ways to do this, but this is still the most effective. I'Ve done some bit of training, not training a bit of testing and found that this tester just waiting once been and then betting, so waiting, say. 16 do another bet and then start betting on the next one. So the second spin, but that wasn't as effective and the third spin also, but that also wasn't as effective as using the first spin. So here we go so remember. 506 was a start here we go remember seven spins before we want it's at 22. So I said my target at 30, so let's do one more and then that's it. It'S a hit and run we get the hell outta here we don't stay and keep betting and betting and betting. That'S how you lose the game. Okay, so going! Okay! Now, if we have a losing one I'll show you what we do so, let's go again one in one in column, one or three remember no corners! No good! Here we go. This is the four black one red? No, I'm not gon na do it. I want a one more even red red and black. Let'S keep going so now it's up to you, but that's just well how I feel about betting that one okay here we go so we've got 22 in the V. 1. 2. 3. 4. 5. 6. 7. Ok, so it didn't win at 7, so we're still going on this trigger betting. Now, as you can see, we're not doubling every bit so after seven, I saw only 8 bits, 8th 9th and 10th. We bit to Lost's lost that one. Second up, we won so there we go 5039. We'Ve got their target of 30 I'd recommend to be honest: 30. You could go up higher, but I've tried that and you can go right back and go backwards so again, you're caught, but I'll still get 30-plus for a target for this type of method. Ok, so that's how you pay the Ramudu triangle as I like to call it all the V method. Now, if you do actually lose after 12, you then double your first bits, so just starting at 1, you're now betting, it to the 7 and you're betting for 4, 3 bits and then 6 for two bits. But now I'll show you the table to see exactly what we're going to win after each bit, but basically that one win 31 bet to you to win 26 3. You do win 21 for 16, 5 you'd win 1160 with 672 squeen one, but we'll still win. 8 you'd win 27 9 you'd win 7 9 10. You win, 7-eleven you'd, win 28:12 bet, 12 you'd win, Thirteen's are still pretty good profit, but again again it's hit and run getcha wins get the hell. Review 206: Switched by Amanda Hocking
Switched (Trylle Trilogy, Book 1) by Amanda Hocking CreateSpace Copyright © July 2010 ISBN: 1453688935 $8.99 Paperback .99 cents Kindle 330 Pages In the beginning I was right on board with Wendy as she struggles in high school and wonders why Finn is always looking at her. As the layers to the story are peeled away for both the reader and Wendy and the truth is finally revealed, the story develops more into a love story. We get a sense of conflict from another group of trolls called Vittra who are out to get Wendy, the reason she had to leave her human family behind, but the story lost essence for me once Wendy arrived at Forening and met her birth mother. In fact, I even put this book down to read another one (a vampire story of all things) and actually liked it better. Hocking has her own vampire series (My Blood Approves), but after reading the preview I got the same sense of set up. For a supernatural series or paranormal romance, whatever you choose to call it, I need a bit more suspense or shock. The sordid I-cannot-have-the-one-I-want story because he’s a A. vampire B. werewolf or C. a troll has been played over and over again, and I know that’s what makes pubescent girls swoon, and obviously its what makes self-published authors into millionaires. But for me it still comes up short on content! Sorry, Amanda! You got my .99 cents anyway. So, that is it for today’s review! I hope you enjoyed reading it and what is more important I hope you have found out something useful and helpful for yourself. Let me know what do you think about my reviews in the comments section below. I am really interested in what you have to say and it really helps me to improve how I write my essay and my reviewing skills. Thank you everybody, love you all. Review 206: Switched by Amanda Hocking
Switched (Trylle Trilogy, Book 1) by Amanda Hocking CreateSpace Copyright © July 2010 ISBN: 1453688935 $8.99 Paperback .99 cents Kindle 330 Pages Switched is the story of Wendy Everly. She’s different. She’s doesn’t fit it. She lives with her overly protective brother Matt and her Aunt Maggie. Wendy’s Mom tried to kill her when she was a child because she claimed Wendy wasn’t her daughter and that she’d been switched at birth. Wendy’s Mom is still locked up because of it, and maybe she was right. Wendy is a troll, but not the ugly under-the-bridge kind. She’s what’s called a “trylle.” She has wild uncontrollable hair. She loves to go barefoot. She can be very temperamental. The Trylle society live in a community in Minnesota called Forening, and when a classmate named Finn reveals himself as a tracker, Wendy discovers she has a royal family that she didn’t even know existed. In Book 1 of the Trilogy, Wendy returns to roots to learn who she really is and where she came from. I downloaded Hocking’s book mainly because of all of the attention she’s been getting. She basically became a millionaire almost overnight thanks to her Kindle sales. It landed it a movie deal for this series and a traditional publishing contract with St. Martin’s for another series. So, I fell victim to deciding to read what everyone else is reading to see what the hype was all about. Other reviewers have already said this, but Switched is basically Twilight but instead of vampires we have Trylles. We have a teenage girl who doesn’t fit in and is adopted into a new family of supernatural beings as a result of it. Love interest and conflict ensue! Hocking’s talent lies in her ability to write good dialogue. She uses it as her main outlet for pushing a story forward. At first I was okay with the lack of detail because you are in the dark with Wendy about everything. This story always made everyone laugh. It later sparked the idea for a short story of mine, which eventually turned into a collection of short stories based on the small details like this that I remember from my childhood. My dad had (and still has) tons of stories, but it was his ability to hold my attention while telling them, his skill as breathing life into it that is the reason I still remember them today.
So, practice being a good storyteller in your writing and don’t forget the pauses and nuances and details that capture your audience. Don’t know if it works? Read the story out loud to an audience and see if you captivate them. And this is a perfect lead-in to our next word. Listen: English novelist Nick Hornby said, “I think a lot of unpublished writers feel the same way. They’re not getting anywhere, and nobody’s listening to them.” Publication aside, most people aren’t listening because you haven’t captured their attention or you aren’t saying anything worth listening to. We’re writers. We love to talk. We love to tell a good tale. But are we willing to listen to others when they want to speak? This includes them wanting to give us feedback or constructive criticism. You should. A good writer knows how and when to listen. And as a school teacher of mine once said, listening is more than just pretending to pay attention. Listening is absorbing what you’ve heard. Surrender: An American writer and aviation pioneer named Anne Morrow Lindbergh once said, “If you surrender completely to the moments as they pass, you live more richly those moments.” I added this word to the list for several reasons. First, we’ve all heard the saying, “Surrender to your muse!” Often, I sit down to write the story that I think is in my head; I’ve plotted out each scene and maybe I even know how it’s going to end. But as soon as my fingertips touch the keyboard, the characters come out and take over and change everything I set out to do. So, I let them. I surrender to the story and let the characters go where they want. I go with them. My last book started with a single sentence and a quote I liked; I had no idea where to go from there. But I wrote that book straight through from beginning to end in just three months and self-published it a year later, all because I just sat down and let the characters tell the story. Surrendering also means admitting your mistakes. Know when you’re wrong and don’t be afraid of change. |
